UNLV Pom Class of 2023 - Rylee

This last-minute shoot was SO fun! Rylee contacted me for a graduation shoot before she left for her newest gig as the Broadcast & Media Relations Assistant with the Portland Sea Dogs! She’s been the announcer for UNLV baseball as well as a member of the UNLV Pom Team! The competitive cheer & dance -> working in sports pipeline is REAL. Of course I had to help her out, us Minor League Baseball girlies gotta stick together!

One of my favorite parts of sports portraits is utilizing the stadium where my athletes play! We started at UNLV’s ball field (coined “The Earl”) for cap & gown photos and a few broadcast headshots.

Working in college athletics while being a current athlete is SO tough, but leaving school with your dream job in athletics lined up is WORTH IT!

We did a few baseball and pom photos on the field because…why not!

We stopped by the UNLV College of Journalism for a few quick poses before golden hour started.

We finished our photoshoot with beautiful golden hour lighting in front of Thomas & Mack. When I first moved to Las Vegas, I lived across from the arena and always wanted to photograph and athlete in front of it. Thank you Rylee for making that dream come true!
