Sycamore HS Class of 2025 - Abby

Fun fact - I lived in DeKalb, IL for 2 summers during my college years for an internship at this incredible creative agency called OC Creative.

My first year, Abby, my boss’ daughter, was 10 years old. Now, she’s a SENIOR at Sycamore High School (oh how time flies). I’m so honored that Abby was my first senior of the Class of 2025!

If you live in DeKalb, you may know about Jonamac Orchard in Malta. We thought this was the perfect spot for senior photos in fall weather, and of course Amy (Abby’s mom) knows the owner! Jonamac offered us a variety of settings like the corn maze, apple orchard, barns, and more.

Amy has been working on a fantastic new project: her boutique Styled By Color. She helped out as Abby’s stylist for our photoshoot which took her looks to the next level.

If you’ve read my Senior Style Guide, you’ll know that neutrals are always a great choice for senior photos!

We moved on to a small walking path by a pond that offered gorgeous tall grasses and plants.

Abby is on the varsity girl’s basketball team at Sycamore so of course we had to get photos at the court near her house. The golden light hit perfectly to give us some gorgeous vibrant tones.

Abby was so comfortable in front of the camera and did an amazing job, and the preparation that Amy did allowed us to flow through the photoshoot so comfortably!
